P retty 3x3" gift card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and foil sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and Paper Snips:
- card from Whisper White Thick Cardstock at 3" x 6" and scored at 3"
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Gold Foil Sheets
- bunch of small roses, buds, and leaves hand cut from small roses and leaves on white background design from Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper
As you are ready to stamp using the Christmas Rose Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Merry Christmas sentiment from the Christmas Rose Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the front of the gift card close to the top edge. WITHOUT RE-INKING, shift the stamp slightly down and to the right and stamp it again to get a shadow effect.
If you haven't already done so, use Paper Snips to cut out a large bunch of small roses, buds, and leaves from a sheet of Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Adhere the cut out grouping of roses, buds, and leaves to the lower left corner of the front of the card. Let the tops of the images overlap the bottom of the sentiment just a tiny bit if desired. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess designer paper on the left and bottom edges.
Pick out the large grouping of diamond shapes trellis die from the Roses Dies. Put it on top of the Gold Foil Sheet on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Keep the big lattice work piece to use on a later gift card and 4 small diamond flourish shapes to use on this card.
Use Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the 4 small diamond flourish shapes cut outs in a rough diamond shape in the upper right corner of the card front next to the "y" in the word "Merry."
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up medium dot from a sheet of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots being sure to get the adhesive as well. Adhere it to the center of the gold foil diamonds.
