Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Whisper White Thick Cardstock at 3" x 6" and scored at 3"
- 2-7/8" square from Whisper White Cardstock
Mount the large roses and greenery outline image that is cling from the Christmas Rose Set on Block F. Ink it up with the Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 2-7/8" white square. Don't worry that the edges of the image go off the edge.
Put the bouquet stamped square on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Start coloring the bouquet with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas. Use the dark colors first and then the light colors to blend the colors and color in the spaces. Work on one area at a time so the inks will be wet and will blend easier.
Use the Light and Dark Soft Suede Markers to color in the pinecones.
Use the Dark and Light Poppy Parade Markers to color in the holly berries.
Use the Dark and Light Old Olive Markers to color in the leaves.
Use the Dark Old Olive Marker to color in the pine needles.
Leave the roses uncolored.
Use the Color Lifter Marker as needed to remove excess ink.
Adhere the colored bouquet square to the front of the 3x3" Whisper White Thick gift card.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up a large or medium dot from a sheet of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots being sure to get the adhesive as well. Adhere it to the center of the large rose.
