Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Crushed Curry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 2" x 5-1/4" from Cajun Craze Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 5-1/4" of large yellow daisies design from Splendid Autumn 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, cut so you only get the center section of the daisies and they are vertical on the vertical strip
- 1/2" x 5" of mottled dark green design from Splendid Autumn 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 1-3/4" x 2-3/4" of mottled dark yellow design from Splendid Autumn 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (it's on the back of the same sheet as the yellow daisies)
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Insert the Cajun Craze rectangle into the Timber 3D Embossing Folder so the grain is horizontal on the vertical strip. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the strip of dry embossed Cajun Craze cardstock to the front of the Crushed Curry card so about 1/8" of Crushed Curry shows on the top, right, and bottom edges.
Adhere the thin strip of mottled green Splendid Autumn Designer Paper to the back of the long, right edge of the yellow daisies Splendid Autumn Designer Paper so about 1/4" of mottled green shows along the right edge and it is centered top to bottom.
Adhere the thin strip/yellow daisies designer paper rectangle to the front of the card so it overlaps the left side of the Cajun Craze strip and about 1/8" of Crushed Curry shows on the bottom, left, and top edges.
Pick out the postage stamp die from the Perennial Postages Dies that cuts out a rectangular postage stamp that is 1-1/2" x 2-3/8". Put it on top of the mottled yellow Splendid Autumn Designer Paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
As you are ready to stamp using the Cheerful Daisies Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "oops-a-daisy so sorry" sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vanilla rectangle.
Pick out the postage stamp die from the Perennial Postages Dies that cuts out a rectangular postage stamp that is 1-1/8" x 2". Put it on top of the stamped sentiment rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Cut an 8" piece of the Wild Wheat 3/8" Rustic Striped Ribbon.
Fold the ribbon in half. Use pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the folded ribbon to the back of the sentiment postage stamp cut out so the loop is on the left side and the loose tails are on the right side. Trim off excess ribbon from the loose tails.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape strips holding the ribbon in place and adhere the sentiment postage stamp cut out with ribbon attached to the center of the designer paper postage stamp cut out.
Adhere the layered postage stamp cut outs to the front of the card as shown so they are about 3/4" from the bottom.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 small Wild Wheat dots from a sheet of Faux Glass Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the upper rightcorner of the card front as shown in a straight line.
