Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Boho Blue Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Copper Clay Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of white daisies on brushed light blue background design from Fresh As A Daisy 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the daisies are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2 strips each 1-3/4" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/4" from Copper Clay Cardstock
- 1/4" x 3-1/4" from Copper Clay Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper to the center of the 4" x 5-1/4" Copper Clay rectangle and then to the front of the Boho Blue card.
Pick out the spiky leaves stem die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies. Put it on top of the 1-3/4" x 2-1/4" Copper Clay rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut the spiky leaves stem in half.
Use a tiny piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the bases of the two pieces of spiky leaves stems to adhere them to the front of the card so the top stem with two stems is about 5/8" from the top of the card and almost touches the right edge of the designer paper rectangle and the bottom, single stem hangs down at an angle towards the bottom right corner just below it.
As you are ready to stamp using the Cheerful Daisies Set or Country Bouquet Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "with love," "for you," or " I love you" sentiment from the Country Bouquet Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Copper Clay Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-1/2" x 2" white rectangle.
Pick out the label die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment with the sentiment slightly down and to the right side. Run through the machine.
Use the side of the brush tip of the Copper Clay Stampin' Write Marker to carefully outline the edges of the sentiment label cut out.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut the thin strip of Copper Clay cardstock so it is about 3-1/4" long and has a sharp angle on each end.
Adhere the angled Copper Clay strip to the back of the sentiment label cut out so it is centered behind the label.
Adhere the label with strip attached to the front of the card so it overlaps the ends of the spiky leaf stems and is centered side to side and is about 1-14" from the top of the card.
Mount the small, full, outline daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Boho Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of one of the 1-3/4" x 4" white cardstock strips.
Mount the small, half, outline daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Boho Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the other 1-3/4" x 4" white cardstock strip.
Pick out the small, full, open daisy die and the slightly smaller, more detailed small , full daisy die from the Cheerful Daisy Dies. Put the open daisy die on top of the stamped small daisy on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Put the detailed small daisy die on the other end of the strip. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Pick out the small, half, open daisy die and the slightly smaller, more detailed small half daisy die from the Cheerful Daisy Dies. Put the open half daisy die on top of the stamped small half daisy on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Put the detailed small half daisy die on the other end of the strip. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Mount the small flower center image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Copper Clay Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the solid, small full daisy cut out. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it at the top of the solid half daisy cut out.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the center of the detailed small, full daisy cut out to the top of the small, full, solid daisy cut out so the petals are not stuck down and it makes a fuller flower. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the top of the detailed half daisy cut out to the top of the solid half daisy cut out so the petals are not stuck down and it makes a fuller flower.
Adhere the layered half daisy cut out to the front of the card as shown using Stampin' Seal so it overlaps the top right side of the sentiment label cut out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the layered full daisy cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the upper left side of the sentiment label cut out and the left side of the half daisy cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large Copper Clay dot from the sheet of 2023-2025 In Color Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the layered full daisy cut out as shown. Also peel up a medium Copper Clay dot from the sheet of 2023-2025 In Color Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the bottom right corner of the card as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large Boho Blue dot from the sheet of 2023-2025 In Color Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the right side of the sentiment label cut out as shown so it is centered over the edge.
