Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Peach Pie Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of tiny yellow stars on orange background design from Flowering Zinnias 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 7" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Flowering Zinnias Designer Paper to the center of the Peach Pie rectangle and then to the front of the Pumpkin Pie card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Cheerful Daisies Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the larger, full, outline daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal large white cardstock strip.
Mount the larger, full, solid daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Peach Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the large stamped outline daisy image on the white strip.
Mount the smaller, full, outline daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal large white cardstock strip leaving room to cut the images out.
Mount the smaller, full, solid daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Peach Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the small stamped outline daisy image on the white strip.
Mount the half, outline daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the large white strip leaving room to cut it out and to stamp the center of the flower on the top.
Mount the half, solid daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Peach Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the stamped outline half daisy image on the white strip.
Mount the large flower center image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Lemon Lolly Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large daisy image.
Mount the small flower center image from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Lemon Lolly Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small daisy image. Re-ink the stamp with the Lemon Lolly Ink Pad. Stamp it on the top of the half daisy image.
Pick out the matching large open daisy die, small open daisy die, and half daisy open die from the Cheerful Daisy Dies. Put them on top of the stamped daisies on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so they are centered over the images. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine.
Mount the "wishing you the brightest birthday" sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining, small white rectangle.
Pick out the label die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay all the cut out flowers and sentiment label on the card front to figure out spacing and placement as shown.
One at a time, adhere the pieces in place. Use Stampin' Seal to adhere the sentiment label and two small daisies in place. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the large daisy in place.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 large and 3 small Peach Pie dots from the sheet of 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere one large and two small dots to the edges of the flower centers as shown. Adhere the other two dots to the upper left corner of the card front as shown.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Peach Pie 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot at an angle to the front of the card so it is centered over the lower left end of the sentiment label cut out as shown.
