P retty card for lots of occasions using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Fresh Freesia Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of white leaves on shiny Fresh Freesia background design from Splendid Day 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" of slightly darker purple leaves on lighter purple background design from Splendid Day 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the large piece of foil Splendid Day Designer Paper to the center of the large white rectangle and then to the front of the Fresh Freesia card.
Pick out the rectangle die that cuts out a 2-3/16" x 3-9/16" stitched rectangle from the Stitched Rectangles Dies. Put it on top the smaller Splendid Day Designer Paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Put Stampin' Seal along the back edges of the designer paper rectangle cut out and leave it sticky side up on your work surface.
Adhere loops of the white Baker's Twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack to the back of the designer paper rectangle so they stick out on all sides.
Add more Stampin' Seal to the back of the designer paper rectangle with twine attached and adhere it to the front of the card in the center.
As you are ready to stamp using the Charming Sentiments Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Wishing You Everything Wonderful" sentiment from the Charming Sentiments Set on Clear Block H. Ink it up with the Fresh Freesia Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining small white rectangle.
Pick out the rectangle die that cuts out a 1-7/16" x 2-3/4" stitched rectangle from the Stitched Rectangles Dies. Put it on top the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment rectangle cut out to the front of the card so it is centered inside the other rectangle cut out.
Pick out one trinket from the Open Leaf Trinkets. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere it to the front of the card as shown so the base of the trinket is tucked under the lower right corner of the sentiment rectangle cut out.
Cut an 8" piece of the Sweet Sorbet 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the front of the card over the lower right corner of the sentiment rectangle cut out.
