L et's make a fun fold card thanks to Dawn Griffiths for the measurements. Tonight on Facebook live I will be making this sweet centre pop up card using the Bright and Beautiful DSP, Beautiful Balloons Stamp Set and Dies
Project Recipe
(All measurements in inches)
You will need a piece of cardstock (I used Bubble Bath) measuring 5 1/2" x 8"
Basic White cardstock measuring 1 7/8" x 2 7/8"
and extra pieces for stamping
For your DSP pieces you will need
4 @ 1 7/8" x 5 3/8" (two of these will be cut in half for the front panels
4 @ 1 1/8" x 1 7/8"
On the long side score at 2" and 6".
We are going to do some cut lines now but will come back to do some more scoring later.
Turn your cardstock so you have the short side at the top. Line up 1 1/4" and come down to the first score line (ie the 2" score line) and then cut down ONLY to the 6" score line. Move your cardstock to the left to come to the 4 1/4" mark and cut from the first score line down to the 6" score line.
With the long side at the top of the page line up at the 4" mark and score only down to the cut line. Leave your cardstock in position but then score only from the bottom cut line down to the edge of the cardstock.
Now we need to score on the centre panel Between the two cut lines at the 3" and 5" mark. Score only between the two cut lines.
Now we get to decorate the card.
Adhere two of the long strips of DSP to the left and right inside panels.
Adhere the four smaller panels wo the two sections above the centre panel and the two sections below the centre panel (see Diagram).
Decorating the inside of your card. Stamp two balloons (or you can die cut some using your DSP) and die cut two of the streamer dies. I die cut some scars and confetti across the bottom corner. I stamped and die cut two balloons and heat embossed "Yay You" on the inside panel.
For the front of the card I cut the other two long panels in half and alternated them onto the two front panels. Alternate the four panels across the two large front panels. (This is only if you have double sided DSP)
Take another piece of white cardstock and die cut the rectangle die and using versamark and gold embossing powder, stamp your sentiment. Take some ribbon and measure how much you will need (approximately 16" (cut in half). attach ribbon under the sentiment panel on one side and attach the other from behind to come together to be tied in a bow. You can attach a piece of white cardstock to the back centre panel for your greeting.
