Project Recipe
Run just the front panel of your Soft Suede card base through the Big Shot with the Woodland Embossing folder.
Using the soft suede ink, lightly sponge the surface of the birch trees and edges of the front of your card. Then using the early espresso ink, sponge the edges of the front of your card to create more depth.
Also, while you have the sponges and ink out, go ahead and sponge the outside edges of the pinecone diecuts that have all the holes in the them with soft suede, making sure to leave the center lighter. Sponge the other pinecone diecuts lightly all over with soft suede and try to gently lift the edges of the pinecone.
To adhere the two pieces of the pinecone diecuts together (the one with the holes and the more solid piece), squeeze a bit of the liquid multipurpose glue onto a scrap of paper and drag the surface of one lightly through it to coat it, then press the two pieces together.
Now you will want to glue the pinecones, pine branches and the berries down to the whisper white cardstock. Glue them down in the following order from bottom to top:
- pine branch
- berries
- pinecone
- pinecone using a dimensional
- pine branch
Now, tie a bow using the cherry cobbler baker's twine including the mini pinecone and adhere on top of pinecone using a mini glue dot.
Glue your Cherry Cobbler DSP strip to the left side of the whisper white cardstock, and then stamp the "Season of Joy" sentiment in Cherry Cobbler.
Finally adhere the whisper white cardstock piece to your soft suede card base.
