T his beautiful card is a CASE of one Dawn Olchefske made at dostamping.typepad.com
Project Recipe
Card inside.
You will start with 2 pieces of paper that are 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" you will score one and keep one crease free to stamp on.
You will score at 2 1/8", 4 1/4", and 6 3/8".
Using a framelit center on the 4 1/4" score line and cut out a window.
Once you get this far you are ready to stamp. I used the Watercolor Wings set. Use this piece as a guide on your crease free paper to find the middle. If you crease before you stamp you will get a naked spot in your image.
Once your stamping is done you can glue the 2 pieces together. Glue one side at a time. Completely line up the edge. Only put glue on the left and right wings, not in the middle panel.
To emboss the front piece (5 1/4" X 4") place it so the edge of the paper is touching the bottom of the folder.
To only embossed the upper portion of the paper line the folder up with the edge of the cutting pad on the big shot. When you roll into the big shot you want to leave about a finger space or two on the end of the cutting pad. Then back it out, do not roll completely through.
Now you are ready for some ink, ribbon, and a pretty butterfly.
