e've all been there. Here's a cute card to send when someone you know is feeling a bit burned out.
A lot of fun to make; I used 6 ink colors and sponge daubers for the background.
It never comes out the same twice, so each creation is truly one of a kind!
Project Recipe
Cut your materials as follows:
Kraft cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Score at 4 1/4" and fold.
Basic Black at 4" x 5 1/4".
Whisper White at 3 3/4" x 5".
Cut one small strip of Kraft to 3/4" thickness and one small strip of Basic black to 1" thickness. Punch each with the Banner Triple Punch and trim down to 1" length for each.
Stamp your sad bulb from Watts of Occasions in Basic Black on your Whisper White cardstock.
Stamp the sentiment in Basic Black to the right of the bulb's base.
Starting with Daffodil Delight, begin adding color with your sponge daubers in a circular pattern.
My coloring went from:
Daffodil Delight
Crushed Curry
Pumpkin Pie
Tangerine Tango
Cajun Craze
Chocolate Chip
Take your Copper Metallic Thread and wind it around the bottom quarter of your image. I used washi tape in back to keep in place.
Next, adhere your image to the Basic Black cardstock using SNAIL.
Adhere your banners centered at the bottom edge of your metallic thread, first the black, then the Kraft.
Top this off with a strand of the Mini Black Sequin Trim. I took a small piece of metallic thread and tied all of my thread and trim together in the center and trimmed the ends off.
Finish the card off by attaching to your base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
