B unny and Chick Baskets
Project Recipe
The basket part is 5 3/4 x 3 3/4 scored at 1 1/4" on all four sides. Whisper White cardstock for the bunny and Daffodil Delight for the chick
Cut on the long edge up to the first score line. Two cuts on each side. Fold edges and tape to make basket.
Use the large oval scallop die to cut the chick from Daffodil Delight and bunny from white CS. Emboss the bunny with a curly looking embossing folder and the chick with Perfect Polka Dots and then cut them in half.
Sponge the edges of the chick with Delightful Dijon to give it dimension.
For bunny ears use the small oval and a smaller one for the pink inset. The chick wings are made with the small oval scallop punch and round the corners by hand.
Face: I used a small hole punch for the eyes. The Itty Bitty Heart for the bunny nose and a triangle for the chick beak. I used an upside down heart to draw the features under the bunny nose.
Stick the face and back to the sides of the basket with sticky tape. Use a 1 x 6 inch of cardstock for the handles. Optional: add a bow
