Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Boho Blue Cardstock at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 4" of different blue flowers and leaves on white background design from Countryside Inn 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 3" x 4-1/2" from Misty Moonlight Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 2-1/2" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3" from Misty Moonlight Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3" from Boho Blue Cardstock
Fold the 2-3/4" score line of the Boho Blue card so it is a mountain fold. Fold the 5-1/2" score line so it is a valley fold. This should give you a card with a short flap on the top left and a large base at the back.
If desired, stamp a sentiment in the center of the horizontal 4" x 5-1/4" white rectangle on the left side.
Adhere the 4" x 5-1/4" white rectangle to the top of the base back of the Boho Blue card.
Adhere the piece of Countryside Inn Designer Paper to the short flap on the top left side of the Boho Blue card.
Mount the Countryside Corners stamp on Block F. Leave the stamp rubber side up on your work surface and press the open Misty Moonlight Ink Pad to the center of the stamp a couple of times to get it inky.
Leave the stamp inky rubber side up on your work surface. Carefully place the Misty Moonlight rectangle on top of the inky stamp so it covers the center of the stamp and all of the fourth smallest (dashed line) frame. Place a piece of Grid Paper on top of the cardstock/inky rubber and rub firmly all over. Remove the Grid Paper and the inked up cardstock rectangle. Set aside. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the Countryside Corners stamp on Block F by pressing the open Misty Moonlight Ink Pad to the center of the stamp a couple of times again to get it inky.
Leave the stamp inky rubber side up on your work surface. Carefully place one of the 2-1/2" x 4" white rectangles on top of the inky stamp so it covers the center of the stamp and all of the third smallest (floral dots) frame. Place a piece of Grid Paper on top of the cardstock/inky rubber and rub firmly all over. Remove the Grid Paper and the inked up cardstock rectangle. Set aside.
Tip: I just clean my large background stamps by running water over them until the water runs clear and then letting them air dry.
Pick out the die from the Countryside Corners Dies that cuts out a label that is 2-3/8" x 4". Put it on top of the stamped label image on the Misty Moonlight cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Pick out the die from the Countryside Corners Dies that cuts out a label that is 1-7/8" x 3-1/2". Put it on top of the stamped label image on the white cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Adhere the white label cut out to the center of the Misty Moonlight label cut out.
Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the horizontal matted label cut outs on the left side ONLY (up to about the 1-1/2" mark from the left side).
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape and adhere the matted labels to the left front flap of the card ONLY so the bottom of the labels is about 7/8" from the bottom of the card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Bottled Happiness Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "sending a little message" sentiment from the Bottled Happiness Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the right side of the remaining 2-1/2" x 4" horizontal white rectangle leaving room to cut it out.
Pick out the die from the Countryside Corners Dies that cuts out a label that is 1-1/4" x 2-7/8". Put it on top of the sentiment stamped white cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment top to bottom and the sentiment is to the right side. Run through the machine.
Adhere the sentiment label cut out to the center of the matted label cut outs on the card front.
Mount the large, more solid glass bottle image from the Bottled Happiness Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Boho Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the vertical 1-1/4" x 3-1/2" white strip as close to the bottom edge as possible. Make sure the top of the bottle is pointing up.
Lay the outline, large bottle image from the Bottled Happiness Set stamping side down on your work surface. Press Block H to it to mount the stamp. Ink up the stamp with the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped bottle image so the edges line up.
Unlock the Vintage Bottle Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped bottle image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Unlock the Bough Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the Boho Blue strip into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Hold the unlocked Bough Punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the remaining Misty Moonlight strip into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Flip the cardstock around and slide it into the punch again so you can punch out another small branch.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the large bough punch outs to the bottom of the matted labels on the card front as shown so they overlap each other a bit. Make sure NO adhesive goes over the sides of the label or your card may be sealed shut.
Put a Mini Glue Dot on the back of the bottle punch out at the top. Press the bases of the small bough punch outs to the Mini Glue Dot so they appear to be coming out of the top of the bottle.
Add Stampin' Seal to the back of the bottle punch out with small boughs attached and adhere it to the card front as shown so it covers the left side of the white sentiment label cut out and the ends of the large boughs.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Boho Blue 3/8" Textured Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon to the card front at a slight angle as shown so it is centered over the bottom left corner of the bottle image.
