T his card design would work with EVERY paper in the In Good Taste paper pack, just change up the colors of the card stock.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Night of Navy 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic White 4 X 5 ¼ . Stamp sentiment with Night of Navy in lower right corner of white mat.
Card Front: Cut Balmy Blue and In Good Taste print paper 4 X 5 ¼. Use Basic Borders die to cut the edge of papers. I cut both pieces together to make sure I had the same angle on both papers.
Adhere the Balmy blue to the white mat just above the stamped image. Trim the excess Balmy Blue from top of the card, use white mat as your guide for trimming. Attach the print paper with dimensionals on the Balmy Blue leaving a bit of the Balmy Blue die cut edge showing. Trim the excess print paper from top of the card, use white mat as your guide for trimming.
Attach the white mat with layers of paper to the Navy card base.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
