B eautiful Easter card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of white lattice with flowers at intersections on Lemon Lime Twist background design from Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack, cut in half on a diagonal
- 3-1/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock
WITHOUT adhering, lay the diagonally cut pieces of Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper on the large white rectangle leaving about 1/2" gap between them. Don't worry that the top and bottom edges go off the white layer.
Find the "Happy Easter" sentiment in the Teeny Tiny Wishes Set. Ink it up with the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad. Stamp it in the gap between the designer paper pieces on the right side at an angle. Make sure to leave about 2-1/2" between the left side of the sentiment and the left side of the white layer.
When happy with the stamping, adhere the two pieces of designer paper in place. Trim off excess paper on the top and bottom edges using Paper Snips.
Adhere the white/designer paper layer to the Crumb Cake layer.
Cut a 5-1/4" piece of Lemon Lime Twist 1/4" Ombre Ribbon.
Lay the piece of ribbon across the cardstock and designer paper so it is even with the top of the bottom designer paper layer. Flip the designer paper/cardstock over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the front of the Lemon Lime Twist card.
Mount the basket of flowers image from the Blossoming Basket Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Squeeze the lid of the Crumb Cake Ink Pad to get a pool of ink in the lid. Open the pad but leave the lid exposed. Use a Blender Pen to pick up some ink from the puddle in the lid and color in the basket bottom and handle. Pick up more ink from the pad lid as needed. Remember to stroke the Blender Pen in one direction only. If you go back and forth, then the card stock could start to pill and tear. Scribble on Grid Paper to clean the tip of the Blender Pen until no more color is coming off.

Place the stamped and colored basket image on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Use the Paper Snips to poke a hole in the white space between the flowers and handle. Then, cut out this white space, cutting as close to the leaves, flowers, and inside of the handle as possible.
Use the Paper Snips to cut off the cardstock on the outside of the basket image. Get as close to the leaves, flowers, and handle as possible.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the basket to the front of the card on the left of the sentiment so it is centered over the white strip between the designer paper pieces.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Lemon Lime Twist 1/4" Ombre Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center. Trim the ends.
Adhere at a slight angle to the upper left side of the basket handle using a Mini Glue Dot.
