B eautiful background created with Blends Marbling Technique. Die cut detail added with stamped greeting and embellishments.
Project Recipe
Gather all items to be in easy reach. You need to work quickly with this technique.
Zip lock bag, 4 - 5 Blends (dark shade), Alcohol spritzer, paper towel, glossy white card, paper towel.
Working quickly, colour the plastic zip lock bag with the Stampin' Blends.
Ensure you apply lots of colour. You may need to go over the colour a second time.
Use the BRUSH tip end of the Blend
Liberally spritz the coloured area with Alcohol (I use Isocol)
Place one piece of Glossy White, glossy side down onto the wet area.
Press firmly with your fingers to help the colour to adhere to the glossy paper.
Apply Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to some Basic Black cardstock.
Use the Detailed Floral Thinlits die and run through the Big Shot
When your marbling is dry (you can speed this up with the low setting on your heat tool) use the 2nd and 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle Framelit Dies together and run through the Big Shot.
This will give you the detail on the marbled piece.
Do not separate the pieces.
Stamp a greeting in Versamark ink, and heat emboss in Black Embossing powder. Cut out with the an appropriate size stitched framelit.
Assemble the card as desired using Tear n Tape and dimensionals
