B eautiful Birthday card for anyone!
Project Recipe
Cut card base from whisper white Cardstock (8.5" by 5.5" folded in half). Cut May from basic black Cardstock (5.25" by 4"). Cut card front from whisper white (3.75" by 5"). Attach black mat to card base with snail but DO NOT attach white card front yet.
Here comes the 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation stamping. Have some scrap paper handy (like SU's grid paper). Ink the large balloon stamp with rose red ink. Stamp TWICE on the scrap paper and then onto the card front near the bottom. This is third generation stamping. Repeat this until there are 1-2 rows of balloons.
For the next part (which will be 2nd generation stamping), ink the same stamp in rose red and stamp on the scrap paper ONCE before Stamping onto the card front just above the previously stamped balloons. Repeat until there are 1-2 rows of 2nd generation stamped balloons.
For the first generation stamping, ink the stamp and stamp directly onto the card, without stamping on scrap paper first. Stamp in 1st generation at the top of the card. By this time, you should have a fading effect from lightest to darkest, bottom to top.
On scrap paper, stamp one 3rd generation, one 2nd generation and one 1st generation balloon. Using the balloon bouquet punch, punch out each balloon. Attach towards th top of the card using dimensionals, leaving room for greeting at the bottom.
Stamp the banner and greeting in basic black ink using the Thoughful banners stamp set and punch out using coordinating punch. Attach greeting with dimensionals as well.
