S oft and pretty thinking of you or sympathy card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Crumb Cake Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Mint Macaron Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of darker brown speckles on light brown background design from Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 3" x 3-3/4" of copper leaves on light green background design from Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 3/4" x 4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 4" from Mint Macaron Cardstock
- 2-1/8" x 3-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Adhere the large rectangle of brown speckled light brown Gilded Autumn Designer Paper to the large rectangle of Mint Macaron cardstock and then to the front of the Crumb Cake card.
Pick out the large, mostly oval label die from the Tasteful Labels Dies. Put it on top of the rectangle of copper leaves on green background designer paper on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the designer paper label cut out to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and is about 3/4" from the top edge.
Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the Very Vanilla strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notched top) as far as it will go. Punch.
Mount the long, filigree image inside a brushstroke image from the Woven Heirlooms Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp off onto Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp the image on the punched vanilla strip.
Mount the "thinking of you" sentiment from the Woven Heirlooms Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment on the stamped, punched vanilla strip so it is close to the notched end with the notch on the right side.
Adhere the stamped, punched sentiment strip to the card front so it is across the center of the designer paper label cut out and the notched end sticks out on the right side and almost touches the the right edge of the large designer paper rectangle.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the smaller Mint Macaron rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the large leaf spray die from the Birds & More Dies. Put it on top of the Mint Macaron rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Mint Macaron (green) side is facing up. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Make sure the protective backing for the Adhesive Sheet stays in place for now.
Using Paper Snips, cut some of the leaves off of the spray so you have three different leaf groupings.
Carefully remove the protective backings from the backs of the leaf groupings and adhere them to the front of the card so they stick out around the left side of the designer paper label cut out as shown. Make sure the stem ends are all near the end of the sentiment strip punch out.
As you are ready to stamp using the Birds & Branches Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the solid, less detailed bird facing to the right image from the Birds & Branches Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it on the remaining vanilla rectangle.
Mount the more detailed bird facing to the right image from the Birds & Branches Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped solid bird image.
Pick out the open bird facing to the right without feet die from the Birds & More Dies. Put it on top of the stamped bird image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered. Run through the tool.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the bird cut out to the front of the card so it covers the left end of the sentiment strip punch out and the ends of the leaf sprays.
Cut a 4" piece of the Mint Macaron 1/2" Basket Weave Ribbon from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card right under the bird cut out.
