Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and foil sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Crushed Curry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Tangerine Tango Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Soft Sky Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Copper Foil Sheets
- 3" square from Soft Suede Cardstock
- 2-1/4" square from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- scrap of Crushed Curry Cardstock at least 1" square
As you are ready to stamp on cardstock pieces using the Bike Ride Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Be sure to put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the outline bouquet of flowers image from the Bike Ride Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad and stamp it randomly all over the Soft Sky rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Rotate the direction of the image each time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock.
Mount the group of three solid flowers image from the Bike Ride Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad and stamp it inside one of the flowers images already stamped on the Soft Sky rectangle. Repeat with each previously stamped flowers image. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. If desired, rotate the stamp a tiny bit and stamp again over previously stamped flowers images to get more complete coverage and darker colors.
Mount the paper bouquet wrapping image from the Bike Ride Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Tangerine Tango Ink Pad and stamp it inside one of the paper bouquet wrapping images already stamped on the Soft Sky rectangle. Repeat with each previously stamped bouquet image. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. If desired, shift the stamp a tiny bit and stamp again over previously stamped paper bouquet wrapping images to get more complete coverage and darker colors.
Adhere the stamped Soft Sky rectangle to the Tangerine Tango rectangle.
Cut a 6" piece of Crushed Curry 3/8" Mini Chevron Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the cardstock layers on the left side. Flip the cardstock over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the front of the Crushed Curry card.
Cut a 10" piece of 1/4" Copper Trim. Tie it in a small bow at the top of the piece of Crushed Curry ribbon already on the card. Trim the ends.
Mount the "sending wishes your way" sentiment from the Butterfly Basics Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Tangerine Tango Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large Crushed Curry square.
Pick out the circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits that cuts out a 1-7/8" circle. Place the stamped sentiment square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the circle framelit on top so it is centered over the sentiment. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the scalloped circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits that cuts out a 2-1/4" scalloped circle. Place the Copper Foil Sheets square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped circle framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Unlock the 2" Circle Punch. Slide the Soft Suede square into the punch and punch.
Adhere the stamped sentiment circle to the center of the Soft Suede circle.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the Soft Suede circle to adhere it to the center of the Copper Foil Sheets scalloped circle.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the matted circles to the front of the card in the lower right corner.
Mount the outline bouquet of flowers image from the Bike Ride Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad and stamp it on the scrap of Crushed Curry Cardstock so you get the flowers at the top of the bouquet.
Mount the group of three solid flowers image from the Bike Ride Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad and stamp it inside the flowers images already stamped on the scrap of Crushed Curry Cardstock. If desired, rotate the stamp a tiny bit and stamp again over previously stamped flowers images to get more complete coverage and darker colors.
Cut out the flowers images by hand using Paper Snips.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cut out flowers to the upper right of the sentiment circles.
Pick out 5 copper sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment. Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere them randomly to the front of the card.
