Project Recipe
Hello Crafty Friends!
I am so excited and honored to be able to share with you that I have been asked to be on the Design Team for Fiona's Facebook page "The Joy of Sets". This will be my first time to create a card for a design team. I'm looking forward to be able to share my creativity with you!
Here are the dimensions:
*Berry Bliss Cardstock
` 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 for card base
` 3 7/8 x 4 for scallop edges
` 2 1/4 x 3 for scallop oval
*Whisper White
`4 x 5 1/4 for background layer
*Glossy cardstock
` 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 for background
*Shimmer White
`2x3 for oval with stamped doggie image
`scraps for sentiment and flowers
*Fresh Floral DSP
` 2 7/8 x 3 7/8 for layer under ovals
Directions -
Attach White cs to Berry Burst card base
*For the glossy cs I used Berry Burst and Powder Pink Re-inkers. I added a few drops of each onto a cotton ball. I then added 70% Rubbing Alcohol to the cotton ball. I pounced the cotton directly onto the glossy cs until I had the coverage I wanted.
*I used the scallop edge from The Popcorn Box thinlits die cutting the top and bottom edge of the Berry Burst cardstock layer.
*Layer onto glossy cs and layer the Fresh Florals DSP onto the berry burst cs making sure the scallops remain shown on card.
*Die Cut Powder Pink cs with the largest Oval from the Layering Shapes Stitched Thinlits.
*Die cut Berry Burst cs with Layering Oval Thinlits
*Die cut Shimmer White with oval from Layering Shapes Stitched Thinlits
*Stamp Dog image in Archival black ink.
Color him with smoky slate and berry burst ink pads using blender pens
*Attach all ovals together and then add onto panel with Dimensionals
*Stamp sentiment onto scrap white cs in berry burst in and punch out with the Classic label punch and attach to bottom of card
*Die cut 3 flowers from The Seasonal Layers Thinlits die, ink edges of flowers with berry burst ink and add glitter enamel dots onto each flower and arrange on ovals
*Add Berry Burst ribbon across top of card
I hope you are inspired by my card, and
if you have any questions please feel free to ask me.
Have fun and enjoy your day!
