Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Shaded Spruce Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
- 3" x 4-1/4" from Shaded Spruce Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 4-1/8" from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
- 2-5/8" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
Insert the Shaded Spruce rectangle into the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder so the trees will be embossed vertically on the horizontal rectangle with the tops of the trees being near the top of the rectangle. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Shaded Spruce rectangle to the 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" Cherry Cobbler rectangle so about 1/8" of red shows at the top and bottom edges. The right and left edges of each piece will be even with each other.
Adhere the matted, dry embossed Shaded Spruce rectangle to the front of the Shaded Spruce card so the left and right edges are even and there is about 1/8" or green showing along the bottom edge.
As you are ready to stamp using the Beauty Of Friendship Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the large, more solid evergreen tree image from the Beauty Of Friendship Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical white 2-5/8" x 4" rectangle near the top.
Mount the large, more detailed evergreen tree image from the Beauty Of Friendship Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped tree image.
Adhere the stamped white layer to the center of the remaining large Cherry Cobbler rectangle.
Cut 3 pieces of the gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim each 3-1/4" long.
Lay the three pieces of trim across the stamped and matted tree rectangle so they are centered between the bottom of the tree and the bottom of the white rectangle. Fold the ends of the trim over and secure the trim in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Cherry Cobbler rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and about 3/8" from the top.
Mount the "A merry little wish for lots of joy this season" sentiment from the A Wish For Everything Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" white rectangle.
Pick out the stitched, scalloped, rectangle die that cuts out a rectangle that is 1-3/16" x 2-3/16" from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Put it on top of the sentiment rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment rectangle cut out over the trim pieces on the front of the card so it is centered.
Pick out the set of two birds die from the Beautiful Trees Dies. Put it on top of the Cherry Cobbler square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the bird cut outs to the front of the card as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up medium or small gem from a sheet of Gilded Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the top of the tree image.
