Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Basic White Thick Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 3" x 4-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
Pick out the rough triangle die that cuts out triangles with rays from the Split Card Textures Dies. Put it on the left side of the vertical black rectangle so just a tiny bit of black shows on the top, left, and bottom edges and the smaller point is at the bottom . Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool and the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip on the Take Your Pick to remove all the pieces.
Use Stampin' Seal and Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the cut black rectangle to the center of the front of the Basic White Thick card.
Rub the Embossing Buddy included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit all over the 3" x 4-1/2" white rectangle.
As you are ready to stamp using the Beautifully Happy Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the outline, complete bouquet image from the Beautifully Happy Set on Block E. Ink it up with the VersaMark Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical 3" x 4-1/2" white rectangle. Some of the edges of the stamp may go off the edges of the cardstock.
Lay the VersaMark stamped rectangle in the center of the Powder Pal included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit. Sprinkle on some black powder from the Basics Stampin' Emboss Powders so it covers the entire image. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool on the highest setting until it is completely melted (shiny and smooth).
Tip: Use the Crafting Tweezers included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit to hold the cardstock while you are heating it so you don't burn your fingers.
Pick out the bumpy ended label die that cuts out a label that is 3-3/8" long from the Seasonal Labels Dies. Put it on the stamped and heat embossed bouquet rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the floral bouquet as much as possible. You will cut some of the edges off. Run through the machine.
Use the Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush to add some shimmer to the petals of the flowers in the heat embossed bouquet label cut out.
Adhere the floral bouquet label cut out to the front of the card so the left edge is about 3/4" from the left side of the card and the top is about 5/8" from the top of the card.
Rub the Embossing Buddy included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit all over the 2" x 3-1/2" white rectangle.
Mount the sentiment of choice with a few larger, bolder words in it from the Blessings Of Home Set on Block H. Ink it up with the VersaMark Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal 2" x 3-1/2" white rectangle.
Lay the VersaMark stamped rectangle in the center of the Powder Pal included in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit. Sprinkle on some black powder from the Basics Stampin' Emboss Powders so it covers the entire sentiment.
Pick out the bumpy ended label die that cuts out a label that is2-5/8" long from the Seasonal Labels Dies. Put it on the stamped and heat embossed sentiment rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Adhere the sentiment label cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the bottom right side of the vertical bouquet label cut out and the bottom of the label is about 3/4" from the bottom of the card and the right edge is about 1/4" from the right edge of the card.
Cut a 4" piece of the White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the card front at an angle so the knot is centered over the end of the left bump on the sentiment label cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 large and 2 small clear gems from the sheet of Elegant Faceted Gems making sure you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere one large gem to the center of the large, full flower on the bouquet label cut out. Adhere the other 3 in a straight, evenly spaced vertical line in the upper right corner of the card so the large gem is in the center.
