Project Recipe
Cut cardstock piece to the following size using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 2-1/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock
Pick out one of the Berry Burst cards from the Mixed Medallion Card Kit. Fold on all score lines. Make sure the Sahara Sand inside flap will fold down when opened.
Mount the medium sized flower image from the Beautiful Peacock Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the big circle in one of the corners of the card front. Repeat with the other 3 corners, remembering to re-ink the stamp each time.
Tip: Be very careful when cleaning this little stamp with the Stampin' Scrub. If you scrub too hard, the stamp can come off the block and go flying! Since it is photopolymer and completely clear, it can be very difficult to find!
As you are ready to stamp on the white cardstock and envelope using the Beautiful Peacock Set, place the cardstock or envelope on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Be sure to protect the Mat from ink by putting a piece of Grid Paper on top of it.
Mount the full tail with space for the body to be stamped inside it image from the Beautiful Peacock Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. BEFORE stamping, use the brush tip of the Berry Burst Marker to randomly thump all over the inked up stamp. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp in the center of the white square.
Mount the bird body image from the Beautiful Peacock Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp in the blank space on the tail image you already stamped.
Use the Calypso Coral Marker to color in the wing on the bird's body.
Pick out the circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits that cuts out a 1-7/8" circle. Place the stamped white square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the circle framelit on top so it is centered. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Fold the Berry Burst flaps of the card closed. Put a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the knob sticking out of the left side flap. Remove the protective backing and adhere the bird circle cut out to the center of the medallion formed when the flaps are closed.
Poke out a "congratulations" sentiment banner from the sheet of die cuts included in the Mixed Medallion Card Kit.
Use a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals right in the center of the banner to adhere it to the bottom of the bird circle cut out.
Carefully peel up 8 tiny Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere them to the dots around the medallion on the card front.
Place the envelope front side up on Grid Paper on top of the Stampin' Pierce Mat.
Mount the long feathers image on Block H. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it on the front of the envelope so the feathers are coming out of the lower left corner. Without re-inking, stamp it again just below the first image.
