C ute thank you 3" x 3" note card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer and Paper Snips:
- card from Old Olive Cardstock at 3" x 6" and scored at 3"
- 2-3/4" square from Soft Sky Cardstock
- watering can image roughly cut from Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper
- group of flowers and leaves image roughly cut from Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper
Place the Soft Sky square on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image when you stamp.
Mount the "Thanks a Bunch" sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it as close as possible to the upper right corner of the Soft Sky square.
Adhere the stamped Soft Sky square to the front of the Old Olive 3" x 3" card.
Place the roughly cut out watering can image from the Just Add Color Designer Paper on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Color the image with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas. Use the light color first and add highlights with the dark color. Blend the colors by going over everything again with the light color.
Use Old Olive Markers on the leaves printed on the watering can.
Use Smoky Slate Markers on the rest of the watering can.
Use the Light Pool Party Marker on the water inside the can.
Use Old Olive Markers on the leaves.
Carefully cut out the watering can close to the printed lines using Paper Snips. To cut out the interior of the handle, place the watering can on the Stampin' Pierce Mat and poke a hole in the blank area with the Paper Snips then cut out from there.
Use SNAIL and Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the watering can cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle.
Place the roughly cut out bunch of flowers and leaves image from the Just Add Color Designer Paper on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.

Carefully cut out the bunch of flowers and leaves close to the printed lines using Paper Snips.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front just below the spout of the watering can.
Carefully peel up a clear water drop from a sheet of Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the card front so it appears to be dripping from the watering can spout.
Carefully peel up two small Crushed Curry circles from a sheet of Glitter Enamel Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the flowers.
