I had forgotten about this card design and I like that there is very little waste of cardstock. The piece cut from the front of the card is used as a layer under the balloons. See the instructions.
Project Recipe
Fold Lost Lagoon card base (8-1/2 x 5-1/2). With the fold on the left, cut out the top of the card (4-1/4 x 3-1/4). Trim this cut out piece to be 4 x 3.
Adhere your choice of DSP (4 x 2) to the lower front of the card.
Adhere a 3-3/4 x 2-3/4 piece of Basic White cardstock to the 4 x 3 Lost Lagoon cardstock you cut from the front of the card.
Adhere this completed piece to the front of the card, putting adhesive only on the lower part of the back side.
Using Lost Lagoon ink, stamp the large balloon and the "tassle" on scrap pieces of Basic White cardstock. Die cut these images.
Die cut smaller balloons from the DSP and gold foil.
Using Lost Lagoon ink, stamp the greeting on a 3/4 x 3-1/4 strip of Basic White cardstock.
Adhere the balloons to the front of the card -- I used Stampin' Dimensionals under the large balloon and the gold balloon.
Adhere the greeting, positioning it as shown. Adhere the tassle under the large balloon and on top of the left side of the greeting piece.
Adhere Basic White cardstock (5-1/4 x 4) inside the card.
With Lost Lagoon ink, stamp a sentiment on this Basic White cardstock. Position it so the sentiment is under the piece with the balloons.
Add gold sequins from the Neutrals Sequin pack.
