Project Recipe
Cut Very Vanilla Thick card stock 5.5 x 8.5, score at 4.25 and fold to create a top fold A2 greeting card base
Cut a piece of card stock 3.25 x 4.5 to use as a template to trace
Cut Brushed Gold foil 4 x 5.25, turn it over and center the 3.25 x 4.5 piece of card stock onto it and trace around the template with a pencil. (This will be the cut line to create the gold frame for the art piece of the card while preserving the center for another use later. This makes better use of the expensive foil papers.)
Once traced you can cut it out using the paper trimmer or a ruler and an xacto blade. (see video)
Cut a piece of Very Vanilla 3.5 x 4.75, emboss with Tasteful Textile embossing folder
Use Stampin' Seal+ to attach this to the foil frame you cut out previously, then turn the entire piece over and add another edge of Stampin' Seal+ around the edge of the frame and attach this to the card front leaving a 1/8" border all around.
Using the smallest stitched square from Stitched Shape Framelits cut out 3 each of very Vanilla card stock and Glilded Autumn designer series paper. Attach these to the card front with Dimensionals. I place four on each. When attaching start with the top left and leave approximately 1/4" edge top and left edge, then attach the top right piece again leaving a 1/4" edge top and right edge, then attach the center square just centering it between the two already placed. Repeat this for the bottom row.
Cut a piece of Very Vanilla 1/4 x 3 and stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso, use a 3" strip of Foam adhesive strips to attach to the card centering it left to right and top to bottom.
On some scrap Very Vanilla stamp one each of the detailed stamps for Acorn, Oak Leaf and Maple Leaf. Then stamp the centers - the Oak leaf is Bumble Bee, the Maple Leaf is Cajun Craze and the Acorn cap is Soft Suede with the bottom part stamped with Crumb Cake.
Punch these out with the coordinating punches. Attach with mini dimensionals.
On the inside of the card I stamped a cluster of the Maple leaves and I also stamped a row of oak leaves and maple leaves across the flap of the envelope.
