Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Crushed Curry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 1" x 4" of yellow, orange, black, and white plaid design from Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1/2" x 4" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Banner Year Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the spider web image from the Banner Year Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it in the upper left corner of the vertical, large Crushed Curry rectangle.
Insert the stamped Crushed Curry rectangle into the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line drawn on the front of the embossing folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine platform and run through the machine.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide one short edge of the Plaid Tidings Designer Paper strip into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the Crushed Curry strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notch) as far as it will go. Punch.
Mount the "Happy Thanksgiving" sentiment from the Banner Year Set on Block G. Tear off a small piece (about 1") of Scotch (cello) tape. Carefully place the tape over the end of the sentiment at a slight angle so it covers the letters "giving" at the end of the sentiment. Carefully press the taped stamp to the open Memento Pad so you ink up only the word "Thanks." You will get ink on the Scotch tape. REMOVE the tape from the stamp and throw it away. Stamp the sentiment on the punched Crushed Curry strip so the word is near the notched end with the notch on the left side.
Adhere the Crushed Curry notched sentiment strip to the center of the designer paper notched strip. Make sure both notches are on the left side.
Cut a 9" piece of the black and white Baker's Twine from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack.
Wrap the twine around the layered sentiment banner strips about 1" from the end of the sentiment and tie in place using a small bow. Trim the ends of the twine.
Adhere the layered sentiment banner strips with twine tied around them to the dry embossed Crushed Curry rectangle so the notch is on the left side and the ends of the notch are about 3/4" from the left side and the bottom of the strip is about 1" from the bottom.
Trim off excess designer paper and cardstock on the right side of the dry embossed Crushed Curry rectangle using Paper Snips.
Adhere the Crushed Curry rectangle to the center of the Pumpkin Pie rectangle and then to the front of the Crushed Curry card.
Mount the pumpkin body image from the Banner Year Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Mount the jack o'lantern face image from the Banner Year Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it in the center of the previously stamped pumpkin body.
Mount the pumpkin stem and leaf image from the Banner Year Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the previously stamped pumpkin body.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the jack o'lantern with stem and the leaf by hand. Cut the leaf away from the stem.
Use mini dimensionals from the Black Stampin' Dimensionals Combo Pack to adhere the jack o'lantern cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the Crushed Curry sentiment banner strip between the sentiment and the twine bow.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the leaf cut out to the front of the card so it is tucked behind the top of the pumpkin on the left side of the stem.
