Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Bumblebee Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Cajun Craze Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 3-7/8" of dark yellow plants on light yellow background design from Harvest Meadow 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the plants are vertical on the horizontal strip
- 1-1/4" x 3-7/8" from Cajun Craze Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Cajun Craze Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Insert the skinny Cajun Craze rectangle into the Animal Print Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the dry embossed Cajun Craze rectangle across the bottom of the large, vertical Very Vanilla rectangle about 1/8" from the bottom. Lay the designer paper strip on top of that.
Mount the "ouch!" sentiment from the Back On Your Feet Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it three times without reinking just above the designer paper strip on the left side. Change the orientation and position of the stamp a bit each time.
When happy with the stamping, adhere the dry embossed Cajun Craze strip and designer paper strip in place. Then, adhere the layered and stamped vanilla rectangle to the center of the large Cajun Craze rectangle and then to the front of the Bumblebee card.
Mount the giraffe image from the Back On Your Feet Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vanilla square so you get the giraffe's head and neck. Leave room to cut the image out with the circle die in the next step.
Pick out the smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a smooth circle that is 1-7/8" diameter. Put it on top of the stamped giraffe on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the giraffe's head and neck are centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Squeeze the lid of the Bumblebee Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use a Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the giraffe except for his spots. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more color is coming off the Blender Pen.

Adhere the colored giraffe circle out to the center of the Cajun Craze circle cut out.
Adhere the matted giraffe circle to the front of the card so it overlaps the upper right side of the designer paper strip.
Cut an 18" piece of the Very Vanilla Baker's Twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.
Fold the twine in half. Tie a small bow in the center of the folded twine. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the twine bow at a slight angle to the card front at the bottom of the matted giraffe circle near the bottom left side of the giraffe's neck.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 small and 1 large Bumblebee gems from the sheet of 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the upper right corner of the card so they all form diamonds in a rough triangle.
