Project Recipe
I used the "Hashtag" dies in the top right and bottom left corner of the DSP (optional) just for a bit of texture
On the Basic White piece, I stamped the three different leaf stamps in Old Olive, Evening Evergreen and Just Jade. In hind site, I would have stamped off the Just Jade, as I find it a bit dark. I used Pale Papaya to stamp the scripty bit.
Next, I cut out the more open of the long leaf dies from the news print vellum and another from regular plain vellum.
From a scrap of Pale Papaya card stock, I cut a strip 3/4" x 3" using the zig-zag border die and a bunch of the little heart leaves
I stamped "birthday wishes" with Versamark ink and used the white embossing powder.
When you're adhering your layers, it's important to keep in mind that adhesives show through vellum. I typically use glue or glue dots only where it's not going to show on the finished card. In this card, I used dimensional behind the banner, to adhere to the vellum layer, then put glue dots behind the banner and under one of the top little Pale Papaya leaves, so they didn't show through the vellum layers. I also used a few Faux Sea Glass shapes to complete the card.
I hope you enjoyed seeing this card as much as I enjoyed making it.
