Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Petal Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of white trellis lines on light pink watercolor washed background design from Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper, cut so the trellis lines are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
- 3" x 4" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the rectangle of Fine Art Floral Designer Paper to the large white rectangle and then to the front of the Petal Pink card.
Mount the "wishing I could heal your heart" sentiment from the Heal Your Heart Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it just to the left of center on the 3" x 4" white rectangle.
Pick out the stitched oval die from the Stitched Shapes Dies that cuts out an oval that is 2-3/8" x 3-3/8". Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the left side of the die. Run through the tool.
Adhere the sentiment oval cut out to the front of the card so it is about 3/4" from the top edge and about 1/2" from the left side.
As you are ready to stamp using the Art Gallery Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the floral bouquet image from the Art Gallery Set on Block D. Use the sides of the brush tips of the markers to ink up the stamp.
Use Mossy Meadow to ink up the stems and leaf.
Use Petal Pink to ink up the flowers and buds.
Use Flirty Flamingo to add darker pink highlights to the flowers.
Tip: If this is the first time using this image, clean the stamp before inking it up with the markers to make sure all residue from the manufacturing process is removed. This will help the ink stick better.
Breathe on the inked up stamp to moisten the ink and stamp it in the center of the remaining white rectangle.
Pick out the matching floral bouquet die from the Floral Gallery Dies. Put it on top of the stamped bouquet image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the tool.
Open the Gilded Leafing Embellishment and pour at least some of it into a large container with a lid. Be careful, the leafing tends to go everywhere!
Mount the small, single flower petal image from the Art Gallery Set on Block A. Ink it up with the VersaMark Pad. Stamp it over the tops of the larger flowers in the bouquet cut out, remembering to re-ink the stamp with VersaMark Ink each time.
Lay the VersaMark stamped floral bouquet cut out on top of some Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Heat & Stick Powder so it covers the large flowers in the floral bouquet cut out. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
BE READY TO WORK QUICKLY!
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (shiny, clear, and smooth).
Place the floral bouquet cut out with heated powder upside down into the Gilded Leafing Embellishment container and press down lightly.
Remove the floral bouquet cut out from the container and use the flat paintbrush to brush off excess leafing embellishment. Return the leafing embellishment to the container to use again later.
Adhere the stamped and gilded floral bouquet cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle using Stampin' Dimensionals and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Let the left side of the bouquet cut out overlap the right side of the sentiment oval cut out.
Cut an 8" piece of the Mossy Meadow 3/16" Braided Linen Trim.
Tie a small bow in the center of the trim. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the trim bow to the front of the card over the base of the floral bouquet stem.
