Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Misty Moonlight Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Shaded Spruce Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of blue roses with green leaves and white dots on black background design from Flower & Field Designer Series Paper
- 2 pieces each 2-3/4" x 3" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3" from Just Jade Cardstock
- 2-5/8" x 2-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets
- 1" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Flower & Field Designer Paper to the large Shaded Spruce rectangle and then to the front of the Misty Moonlight card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Art Gallery Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the floral bouquet image from the Art Gallery Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one of the large white rectangles. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist and Stampin;' Scrub and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the floral bouquet image on Block D, but use the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad instead. Stamp it in the center of the other large white rectangle.
Use the Seaside Spray Marker to color in the white areas on the large blooms of the Misty Moonlight floral bouquet.
Pick out the matching floral bouquet die from the Floral Gallery Dies. Put it on top of one of the stamped bouquet images on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the tool. Repeat with the other stamped bouquet image.
Adhere the green floral bouquet cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle so the top flower is about 7/8" from the top edge of the card and the left flower is about 3/8" from the left side of the card.
Use Paper Snips to carefully cut the large flowers off of the leaves and stems of the Misty Moonlight floral bouquet cut out. The top three flowers should stay connected. The bottom, big flower in the center will be separate.
Adhere the top three connected Misty Moonlight flowers cut out over the top of the Shaded Spruce flowers on the floral bouquet cut out on the card front.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the large, bottom center, Misty Moonlight flower over the top of the large, bottom center, Shaded Spruce flower on the floral bouquet cut out on the card front.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Art Gallery Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the skinny white rectangle leaving room to cut it out.
Pick out the longl, wavy edge, banner die from the Floral Gallery Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die. Run through the tool.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the Just Jade rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the "just wanted to say" die from the Floral Gallery Dies. Put it on top of the Just Jade rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Just Jade (green) side is facing up. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Be careful not to lose the dot for the "j."
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the sentiment strip cut out and the cut out "just want to say" words on the card front to figure out spacing and placement as shown.
When happy with placement, adhere the cut out "just want to say" words in place one at a time by peeling off the protective backings on the backs of the words.
Adhere the sentiment strip cut out to the front of the card using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Just Jade 2020-2022 In Color 1/4" Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at a slight angle so it overlaps the left end of the sentiment strip cut out.
Pick out a bug from the Ladybug Trinkets. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ladybug in place to the floral bouquet cut out as shown.
