W ho could resist an apple crate make from the Wood Crate framelits? Not me!
Project Recipe
Dimensions:
Early Espresso 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at half
Old Olive 4 x 5 1/4
Whisper White 3 3/4 x 5, two pieces
Cut out one side of the wood crate in the Wood Textiles dsp. Trim off the bottom and side flaps.
Adhere the three layers on the card front together.
Stamp apples in Real Red. Stamp off first. Count on at least 5 apples. Cut out with the 1 inch circle punch.
On another piece of Whisper White, stamp the sentiment and cut out with the 1 1/4 circle punch.
Color the "For You" tag with the Real Red and Old Olive markers. Cut out with the framelit. Tie the linen thread around the tag and tie in a bow. Add dimensionals and set aside.
Stamp the flowers from the Wood Words stamp set behind where the apples would be. Do this by placing the crate on the Whisper White piece to check the placement. Add a Post It note under the row of flowers so it won't show between the crate slats.
Glue down the wood crate, all but the top of the crate.
Add the apples and then adhere the remainder of the crate.
Cut out very thin piece of Early Espresso for the stems. The leaves are from the Swirly Scribbles Framelits. Use the smaller leaf.
With the Multipurpose Liquid Glue, glue the stems and leaves on the apples.
Add the tag and circle to the front of the crate.
Stamp the Fresh Treats and stars under the crate.
Add the remaining piece of Whisper White on the inside.
