Project Recipe
Cut card stock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Watermelon Wonder Card Stock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of rows of peach and white scallops design from Carried Away Designer Series Paper, cut so that the stripes run vertically
- 3" square from Watermelon Wonder Card Stock
- 2-3/8" square from Whisper White Card Stock
- scrap of Whisper White Card Stock
Adhere the Carried Away Designer Series Paper piece to the front of the Watermelon Wonder card so that the scallops are looped down.
Mount the thin string image from the Any Occasion Photopolymer Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it at an angle across the top of the white square so the right edge of the string is going off the square in the upper right corner. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the string image with the Night of Navy Ink Pad and stamp it across the bottom of the white square at an angle so the left end of the string goes off the card stock and is about 3/8" below the first string at that point.
Mount the word "Congratulations" on the Block H. Ink it up with the Watermelon Wonder Ink Pad. Stamp it just below the bottom string so it is centered side to side on the string. It should just fit on the square of card stock.
Mount the word "Celebrate" on Block H. Ink it up with the Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad. Stamp it just below the top string so it is to the left side of the string.
Mount the three lacy scallops banner image on Block A. Ink it up with the Watermelon Wonder Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the space above the top string at a slight angle. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub and leave it on the block.
Ink up the three lacy scallops banner image again using the Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad. Stamp it to the right of the Watermelon Wonder banner so the edges touch. Re-ink the stamp again with the Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad and stamp on the left of the Watermelon Wonder banner so the edges touch.
Pick out the scalloped square framelit from the Layering Squares Framelits that cuts out a scalloped square that is 2-3/4" square . Place the square of Watermelon Wonder on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on your Big Shot. Place the scalloped square framelit on top. Place the other Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the stamped white square to the center of the Watermelon Wonder scalloped square.
Adhere the squares to the card front so they are about 3/4" from the top, left, and right edges.
Cut a 14" piece of Night of Navy Solid Baker's Twine. Double it over. Tie a small bow. Trim the ends. Adhere the bow to the upper right corner of the white square using a Mini Glue Dot.
Open the Petite Petals Punch and slide in the scrap of white card stock. Punch.
Use the side of the brush tip of the Watermelon Wonder Marker to outline the edges of the flower punch out.
Adhere the flower punch out to the lower left corner of the card front.
Use the Watermelon Wonder Marker to color the top of one of the small wooden flowers in the Sending Love Embellishments.
Adhere the colored embellishment to the center of the flower punch out using a Mini Glue Dot.
Adhere a small Night of Navy circle from the Regals Enamel Shapes to the center of the colored wooden flower.
