W hen you want a larger canvas for your decorations, this fancy fold can fit the bill. Many times, this angled double gatefold card is secured with a belly band. For a change, I used small craft magnets to hold it closed.
Project Recipe
Measurements of Materials
5 ½” x 11” Granite Gray Cardstock (CS) (Scored at 3 3/8” and 7 5/8”)
5 ½” x 4” Pretty Peacock CS
5” x 3 3/4” White CS
3 ¼” x 5 ¼” Designer Series Paper (Cut 2)
Small Crafting magnets (Not a Stampin' Up! product) to hold the card closed.
Left front flap
• Measure 2” from the top of the card and make a small tick mark on the edge. Cut diagonally from fold line to tick mark.
• Measure in 1” from the edge of the card and make a small tick mark. Cut diagonally from this mark to the first mark.
Right front flap
• Measure 2” from the top of the card and make a small tick mark on the edge. Cut diagonally from fold line to tick mark.
Before adhering the DSP to the card base, you will want to attach the magnets. By attaching the DSP last, you can cover the magnets.
Inside the Card
• Stamp the sentiment and decorations on the white cardstock as desired.
• Matt with the pretty peacock cardstock then adhere to the card base.
