Dimensions:
Sahara Sand Cardstock
4 - 5 1/2 x 3/4 basket base
1 - 5 1/2 x 1/2 handle
1 - 7 1/4 x 1/2 basket top
Optional: 1 1/2 circle for bottom
Emboss/sponge or stamp the base of the basket if you choose to.
On the 7 1/4 piece, add tear and tape the entire length.
Start adhering the 4 pieces on their short edge. Make sure the stamped or embossed side is down. Leave just a tiny space inbetween each.
Once the 4 are down, start again with the first piece. Curve the top band around so you can adhere the first piece to it. Follow with the second and so on. You may have to manipulate the pieces a little as you go.
Here is how it looks going into the second piece.
After they are all on, you may have to squish the cardstock so it will stand. You can also add the circle on the bottom.
Once all four are adhered, there is just a little bit left to complete the basket.
Using the 1/8 hold punch, punch holes in the sides and the remaining piece for the handle. Attach using a brad.
Wrap a ribbon around and tie in a bow.
