Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, foil sheets, and Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Melon Mambo Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3" of blocks of various pinks and gold design from Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 4-1/4" from Melon Mambo Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4-1/4" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
- 3/4" x 1-3/4" from Gold Foil Sheets
Carefully remove a magnet from the back of the Stamparatus and place it on your work surface. Place the Stamparatus in front of you with the open sides of the Stamparatus on the left and bottom. Place the foam mat on the base of the Stamparatus, make sure it is pushed into the upper right corner as far as possible.
Place the rectangle of Whisper White cardstock in the upper right corner of the Stamparatus. Make sure that a 5-1/4" side is going horizontally across the top and the piece is pushed as far into the corner as it will go. Place the magnet in the upper right corner to hold the cardstock in place.
Insert one of the plates into the hinges on the right side of the Stamparatus.
Pick out the half starburst image from the Amazing You Set. Place it upside down on the piece of Whisper White Cardstock at an angle with the curved edge almost touching the left edge of the cardstock about 3/4" up from the bottom. Close the plate on the right side of the Stamparatus and press firmly so the stamp sticks to the plate. Open the plate.
Tip: Place the stamp case under the Stamparatus plate to give it some firmness as you ink up the stamp.
Ink up the stamp on the plate using the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. If you get excess ink on the plate, you can wipe it off with a baby wipe or tissue. Close the plate onto the cardstock and press down firmly. Open the plate. Clean the stamp with a baby wipe and remove the plate. Set the Stamparatus base with the white cardstock held in place with the magnet aside for now.
Pick out the large heart framelit from the Lots to Love Box Framelits. Place the rectangle of Painted with Love Specialty Designer Paper on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the heart framelit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet piece and adhere the adhesive sheet to the center of the strip of Melon Mambo Cardstock. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the strip of Melon Mambo Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom.
Pick out the "celebrate" thinlit from the Celebrate You Thinlits. Place it on top of the Melon Mambo strip on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces. Do NOT remove the protective backing.
Place the Stamparatus in front of you again with the open sides of the Stamparatus on the left and bottom. Make sure the white cardstock is pushed into the upper right corner as far as possible.
Insert the other plate into the hinges on the top of the Stamparatus.
WITHOUT adhering, place the heart cut out on the white cardstock on the Stamparatus so the heart covers the right (flat) side of the half starburst image you previously stamped at an angle. WITHOUT adhering, place the "celebrate" cut out so it overlaps the right side of the heart at the bottom a bit.
Pick out the "Let's" image from the Amazing You Set. Place it upside down on the piece of Whisper White Cardstock so it is just to the right of the heart cut out and just above the "celebrate" cut out. Close the plate on the top of the Stamparatus and press firmly so the stamp sticks to the plate. Open the plate.
Remove the heart and "celebrate" cut outs from the Stamparatus. Make sure not to move the white cardstock.
Remove the stamped white cardstock from the Stamparatus.
Adhere the stamped white cardstock to the front of the Melon Mambo card.
Adhere the heart cut out to the front of the card at an angle so it covers the right (flat) side of the half starburst image.
Peel the protective backing off of the "celebrate" cut out. Adhere it to the card front so it overlaps the right side of the heart a bit and is below the word "let's."
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Calypso Coral 3/8" Ribbon from the Shimmer Ribbon Pack.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon to the card front at the bottom of the "c" in the "celebrate" cut out at a slight angle.
Pick out the long strip of hearts thinlit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. Place the piece of Gold Foil Sheet on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot shiny side up. Place the long strip of hearts thinlit on top so you'll cut out three full hearts. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the tiny gold foil hearts to the front of the card.
