P retty thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Mint Macaron Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 5" of small white and light purple dots on darker purple background design from Country Lane Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Blacberry Bliss Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Mint Macaron Cardstock
Insert the large Mint Macaron rectangle into the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the paper inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Adhere the dry embossed Mint Macaron rectangle to the front of the Rich Razzleberry card.
Adhere the strip of Country Lane Designer Series Paper horizontally across the front of the card.
Cut a 5" piece of Tranquil Tide 1/4" Velvet Ribbon so it has sharp angles on either end.
Adhere the ribbon horizontally to the front of the card so it is centered on the designer paper strip and the velvet (darker) side is facing down. Use a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the center to hold the ribbon in place. Leave the protective backing in place.
Mount the "hello" or "thank you" sentiment image from the Accented Blooms Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Mint Macaron Pad. Stamp towards one side of the white rectangle.
Tip: If your ink pad is really inky, you may want to ink up the stamp using a Sponge Brayer instead so you don't get ink into the fine lines. Roll a Sponge Brayer across the open Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, roll the inky brayer over the stamp. Get more ink on the brayer as needed. I just clean my Sponge Brayers when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Unlock the Tailored Tag Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
One at a time, slide the small rectangles of Mint Macaron, Rich Razzleberry, and Blackberry Bliss cardstocks into the punch and punch.
Use Paper Snips to cut the punched out colored shapes in half horizontally.
Adhere the Blackberry Bliss punch out pieces to the back of the sentiment punch out so just a bit of Blackberry Bliss shows above and below the sentiment punch out.
Adhere the Rich Razzleberry punch out pieces to the back of the sentiment punch out so just a bit of Rich Razzleberry shows above and below the Blackberry Bliss punch outs.
Adhere the Mint Macaron punch out pieces to the back of the sentiment punch out so just a bit of Mint Macaron shows above and below the Rich Razzleberry punch outs.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the layered sentiment punch outs to the front of the card in the center.
Carefully peel up 3 Mint Macaron sequins from a sheet of Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the card front.
