Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and adhesive sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Early Espresso Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of brown Queen Anne's Lace plants with gold accents on lighter brown background design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper, cut so the plants are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2" x 3-7/8" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3-7/8" of brown Queen Anne's Lace plants with gold accents on lighter brown background design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper, cut so you only get the light brown color
- 1-1/2" x 4" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 3-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Mount the script word "happy" from the A Wish For Everything Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it on the horizontal plain light brown piece of Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper so it is about 1/8" from the top and about 3/8" from the left edge.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the 1-1/2" x 4" Cinnamon Cider rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the word "thanksgiving" die from the Word Wishes Dies. Put it on top of the Cinnamon Cider rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Cinnamon Cider (light brown) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the "thanksgiving" word cut out. Adhere it to the bottom of the stamped designer paper rectangle so it is centered side to side and overlaps the bottom of the stamped word "happy" a bit.
Adhere the stamped designer paper rectangle with the word cut out attached to the center of the remaining Cinnamon Cider rectangle. The left and right edges will be even.
Adhere the matted designer paper rectangle to the bottom of the Queen Anne's Lace vertical designer paper piece so it is about 3/8" from the bottom. The left and right edges will be even.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Gold 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the designer paper/cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it hides the seam between the smaller designer paper rectangle and the cardstock behind it. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the designer paper rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to center of the Early Espresso rectangle and then to the front of the Cinnamon Cider card.
Cut a 4" piece of the Gold 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card on the right side and tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
Use the fine tip of the Cinnamon Cider Marker to make the dots over the letters "i" in the word cut out.
