B right and cheery card perfect for celebrating lots of occasions.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and Foam Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Daffodil Delight Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pacific Point Cardstock
- 1/4" x 5-1/2" from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
- 1/8" x 5-1/2" from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
- 2 squares each 1" square from Melon Mambo Cardstock
- 1" square from Calypso Coral Cardstock
- 2 squares each 1" square from Pool Party Cardstock
- 1" square from Mango Melody Cardstock
- 5 squares each 7/8" square from Foam Adhesive Sheets
Mount the script word "happy" from the A Wish For Everything Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pacific Point Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the Pacific Point horizontal rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock (be sure to use Grid Paper under the cardstock to protect your work surface). Stamp at a slightly different angle each time.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the 1/8" strip of Daffodil Delight Cardstock to the bottom of the stamped Pacific Point rectangle about 1" from the bottom edge.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the 1/4" strip of Daffodil Delight Cardstock to the bottom of the stamped Pacific Point rectangle so it is just above the 1/8" strip and a small bit of blue shows between the strips.
Use Paper Snips to trim off excess Daffodil Delight Cardstock on the right and left edges.
Adhere the stamped Pacific Point rectangle with thin Daffodil Delight strips attached to the front of the Daffodil Delight card.
One at a time, peel the protective backings off of the Foam Adhesive Sheets pieces. Adhere the Foam Adhesive Sheets pieces to one side of one of the Melon Mambo squares, the Calypso Coral square, both Pool Party squares, and the Mango Melody square. Be sure to leave the other protective backings in place for now.
Pick out the "H," "A," "P," and "Y" dies from the Playful Alphabet Dies. Put them on top of the squares on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, and Mango Melody sides are facing up as indicated below. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed. Try to keep the protective backings in place for now.
Use the "H" on the Melon Mambo square.
Use the "A" on the Calypso Coral square.
Use the "P" on one of the Pool Party squares.
Use the "Y" on the Mango Melody square.
Repeat with the other Pool Party square and the "P" so you have to light blue "P" cut outs.
Carefully adhere one letter at a time by peeling off the protective backing and sticking the letters in place. Start with the "Y" so it is about 1" from the right edge of the card and overlaps the two thin Daffodil Delight strips. Then, adhere one of the "P" cut outs to the left of it, then the other "P" to the left of that, then the "A" to the left of it, and finally the "H" to the left of that.
Mount the tiny word "DAY" from the A Wish For Everything Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Pacific Point Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining Melon Mambo square.
Pick out the rough rectangle of small connected hearts die from the Stitched Be Mine Dies. Put it on top of the stamped word "day" on the Melon Mambo square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the word "day" is centered in one of the larger hearts. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Keep the little heart with the word "day" on it.
Cut a tiny piece of dimensional from the Foam Adhesive Sheets using Paper Snips. Adhere the piece to the back of the heart cut out. Remove the protective backing and adhere the heart cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle so it overlaps the bottom right side of the "Y" cut out.
