Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and adhesive sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 2-7/8" x 5-1/2" from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 5-1/2" of light brown weeds on darker brown background design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper, cut so the weeds are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
- 1-1/2" x 4" of brown herringbone design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1-3/8" x 3-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
Fold the Rich Razzleberry card on the score line. Place the folded card on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Mount the large bracken fern image from the Beauty Of Tomorrow Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the top and bottom edges of the folded card front. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation every time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the card.
Adhere the large brown weeds piece of Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper to the center of the Blackberry Bliss strip of cardstock so the left and right edges are even and a small amount of Blackberry Bliss shows on the top and bottom edges.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the 3/8" Diamond Weave Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the matted designer paper rectangle so it is about 5/8" from the left edge (make sure the weeds are right side up). Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Blackberry Bliss rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the stamped Rich Razzleberry card.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to the back side of the herringbone pattern Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the word "thanksgiving" die from the Word Wishes Dies. Put it on top of the herringbone designer paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the herringbone side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the "thanksgiving" word cut out. Adhere it to the front of the card so it is near the bottom of the designer paper rectangle and ends close to the right edge.
Use the fine tip of the Early Espresso Marker to make the dots over the letters "i" in the word.
Mount the script word "happy" from the A Wish For Everything Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Rich Razzleberry rectangle.
Pick out the smallest tag with angled top die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the top of the tag is on the left side and the sentiment is centered. Run through the machine.
Use your fingers to tear off the bottom edge of the tag cut out.
Cut an 8" piece of the Linen Thread.
Fold the trim in half. Stick the folded end of the trim through the hole in the top of the tag and pull it out slightly. Feed the loose ends of the trim through the folded loop and pull tight.
Slide one loose end of the Linen Thread under the ribbon already on the card front near the top. Tie the loose ends of the thread around the ribbon using a small bow. Trim the ends of the thread.
Put a Stampin' Dimensional on the back of the tag and remove the protective backing then adhere the tag in place just above the start of the "Thanksgiving" word cut out.
