Project Recipe
Cut your cardstock into the following measurements:
Basic Black: 4-1/4" x 11"
Whisper White: 4' x 5-1/4" (you will need 2, one
for the outside and one for the inside)
Berry Burst: 4" x 3-1/2"
Whisper White scrap for present
Fold the basic black piece in half to form your card base.
Place the "presents border" edgelit on the Berry Burst cardstock (I placed it up about 1/2" or so from the bottom to leave room for the ribbon), and run through the Big Shot.
Note: You may have to run it through a few times to get the detailed pieces cut al the way through. My tip is to run it through the Big Shot with the edgelit on top of the cardstock a couple of times, then flip it over so the cardstock is facing up and run it through the Big Shot a couple of times. That usually helps the detailed sections to cut all the way through the cardstock.
Put adhesive on the bottom section of the Berry Burst border and adhere to the bottom of one of the Whisper White pieces.
Stamp the greeting in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink as shown.
Wrap a piece of Granny Apple Green ribbon around the bottom of the Berry Burst border and tie a knot (or bow if you are good at tying bows! I am not!)
Adhere the Whisper White layer to the card front.
Adhere a few Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins to the card front.
Ink up the present image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamp on the Whisper White scrap.
Using Paper Snips, cut out the present (also called fussy cutting!).
Adhere to the card from using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Adhere the second piece of 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White piece to the inside of your card for additional greeting!
