P retty card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and doily pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer and Paper Snips:
- card from Rose Red Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- half a small silver Metallic Foil Doily
Punch out the medium heart from a sheet of Hearts & Stars Elements.
Press one side of the wooden heart into the open Rose Red Ink Pad to stain the heart red. Set it aside to dry.
Place a piece of scratch paper across the bottom of the white rectangle so it covers the bottom 1-3/4".
Mount the background image from the You've Got This Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Rose Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the right side of the white rectangle so the right edge of the image almost touches the right edge of the cardstock and the top of the image is about 1/4" from the top of the cardstock. Leave the scratch paper in place.
Mount the large flower image from the You've Got This Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle so it is centered over the previously stamped Rose Red background image. Remove the scratch paper.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the You've Got This Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Rose Red Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower left corner of the stamped white rectangle.
Put a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the stamped white rectangle so it hides the bottom of the stamped background and flower images. Remove the protective backing. Adhere some Night of Navy 3/8" Corduroy Ribbon to the adhesive strip and trim the ends so they are even with the sides of the white rectangle.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle with the ribbon attached to the front of the Rose Red card.
If you haven't already done so, cut a small silver Metallic Foil Doily in half. Adhere one half to the front of the card so the straight edge is tucked under the bottom of the ribbon on the right side. Put the other half away to use on a future project.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the colored wooden heart to the card front so it is centered in the doily half just below the ribbon.
