Project Recipe
Cut Tranquil Tide card stock 4.25 x 11, score at 5.5 and fold to make a top fold A2 card
Cut Whisper White 3.5 x 4 and attach to the front of the base card with Snail. Center it when you attach it.
Cut Tranquil Tide 4 x 5.25
Cut an Oval 2.5 x 1.25 from this piece
Once the oval is cut out emboss it with the Garden Trellis embossing folder
Once the piece is embossed use White Craft ink to ink the raised side by lightly tapping until you get the amount of white you want.
Tap lightly, if you press too hard you'll get ink in the indented places as well and won't get the distinct look. Simply keep tapping lightly to add more ink.
Set aside to dry. Craft ink is pigment based ink and it takes a while to dry. If you get impatient you can always speed up the drying by using the heat tool.
Back to the card base lay the oval cut out piece on the front and with a pencil lightly trace the outline of the oval
This will give you a guide as to where to stamp the flowers
Remove the textured piece and set it aside
Using the pencil line as a guide stamp the flowers with Sweet Sugarplum ink and the flower centers with Rich Razzleberry Ink. The leaves are stamped with Tranquil Tide.
I stamped the large flower first, the leaves second and the small flower last
Once the flowers are stamped erase the pencil line.
To make the frames place the 2.5 x 1.25 oval die inside the next largest oval die on Tranquil Tide card stock, run it through the Big Shot.
This will create a frame to go around the oval opening on the textured piece
Next, take the 2.25 x 3.25 scallop oval and place the 1.75 x 2.75 plain oval in the center on Powder Pink card stock to make the scallop frame
Attach the two frames with Liquid Glue around the oval of the textured piece
Place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the textured piece and attach to card front leaving an 1/8" border all around
