P retty floral wreath card, made for Mother's Day.
Project Recipe
Use thick white cardstock base (4.25 x 5.5 size)
tip top taupe or crumb cake layer: cut .25 inch shorter on all sides
affix doily to front
use the larger 'swirl' from the Swirly Bird die-cut for the wreath. Save the inside piece from the 'swirl' cut, because you will use it, too.
die-cut the flowers and leaves from the Swirly Bird die-cuts (I used Old Olive for the leaves, and Rose Red for the flowers.)
After die-cutting the flowers, using white Craft ink, stamp the flower design on the flower die pieces.
Use Old Olive ink for the leaf stems on the leaves die cut pieces.
assemble everything on the card as shown.
I do not own a small "Happy Mother's Day" stamp so I made my own (as shown).
I used a small piece of thick/wide ribbon, and tied the center of it with bakers twine and made a bow on it for the wreath.
use dimensionals to raise the sentiment off the card front.
use double-sided tape to attach the ribbon bow to the front.
