S imple, pretty card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut card stock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Blushing Bride Card Stock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Blushing Bride Card Stock
- 1" x 3-1/2" from Pear Pizzazz Card Stock
Mount the background image of scattered flowers and leaves from the Wood Words Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Fresh Fig Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Blushing Bride rectangle about 1/2" from the top. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Fresh Fig Ink Pad. Rotate it 180 degrees and stamp it below the first image. Let the two images overlap just a bit in the center.
Adhere the stamped Blushing Bride rectangle to the front of the Blushing Bride card.
Mount one of the long, skinny sentiments from the Wood Words Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Fresh Fig Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Pear Pizzazz rectangle.
Pick out the long, single, open banner framelit from the Bunch of Banners Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the banner framelit on top so the sentiment is to the right side. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Poke out the banner with the sentiment and keep it. Also use the Paper-Piercing Tool to poke out the outline banner that is probably stuck inside the framelit, remove it, and throw it away. If you don't remove it, then you will have trouble cutting with this framelit the next time you use it.
Adhere the sentiment banner to the card front so it is in the center of the stamped flowers and leaves and covers any overlap between the two stamped images.
Adhere one of the Falling in Love Embellishments to the left side of the sentiment banner using a Mini Glue Dot.
Pick out 3 Old Olive circle sequins from the Brights Sequin Assortment. Adhere them to the card front as shown using Mini Glue Dots.
