F un card using the eclipse technique and Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Crumb Cake at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Real Red Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Mount the Hardwood background stamp on Block F. Place the Hardwod background stamp rubber side up on Grid Paper on your work surface. Ink up the stamp by pouncing or rubbing the Soft Suede Ink Pad all over it. Leave the inked up stamp face up on your work surface. Carefully place the Crumb Cake rectangle on the stamp. Fold the Grid Paper up and over the top of everything and rub firmly all over. Using the Grid Paper protects your hands from getting ink on them.
Tip: I just clean my background stamps by running them under water until the water runs clear. Then, I let them air dry.
Pick out the "Y," "E," "S," and exclamation point framelits from the Large Letters Dies. Place the stamped Crumb Cake rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the letter framelits on top so they spell out the word "YES!" and it is evenly spaced across the cardstock and centered top to bottom. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Keep ALL the pieces!
Adhere the Crumb Cake rectangle with the letters cut out of it to the Real Red rectangle and then to the front of the Crumb Cake card.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals and pieces cut from the side of the sheet using Paper Snips to adhere the letter cut out pieces to the front of the card so they are slightly off set from the letters cut out of the Crumb Cake rectangle and you can see a bit of red above and to the left of each letter piece.
Mount the heart image from the Wood Words Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vanilla square.
Pick out the heart framelit from the Wood Crate Dies. Place the stamped heart image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the heart framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the heart cut out to the card front so it covers the lower part of the "Y" at a slight angle.
