Project Recipe
Cardstock sizes:
11" x 4 1/4" Granny Apple Green
5 1/4" x 4" Daffodil Delight
2" x 5 1/4" Brights DSP - Granny Apple Green
1 6/8" x 1 7/8" Whisper White
1 7/8" x 2" Real Red
2" x 2 1/8" Daffodil Delight
2 1/4" x 2 3/8" Granny Apple Green
Score the 11" x 4 1/4" Granny Apple Green cardstock at 5 1/2" and burnish your score lines.
Stamp your image into the 1 6/8" x 1 7/8" Whisper White using the Momento Tuxedo Black ink. Color the image using the Stampin' Blends.
To create the layers behind the Taco image, I glued the Whisper White stamped image to the 1 7/8" x 2" Real Red cardstock, leaving a 1/8" border showing only on the right side of the image. I then glued the 2" x 2 1/8" Daffodil Delight cardstock behind the Real Red, leaving a 1/8" border only on the left side of the image. Now center these layers to the 2 1/4" x 2 3/8" Granny Apple Green cardstock. Place dimensionals on the bottom and top corners only since this layer will be placed over the ribbon.
Glue the 2" x 5 1/4" Granny Apple Green Brights DSP to the 5 1/4" x 4" Daffodil Delight cardstock, about 5/16" from the bottom edge.
To create the colored bakers twine, I laid down my silicone crafters mat and grabbed my Granny Apple Green & Real Red Stampin' Blends. Hold one end of your bakers twine, then run your Stampin' Blend down the length of twine coloring it. Make sure you roll the twine and get all sides colored. Let this dry for five minutes and it will be ready to use.
Wrap the Daffodil Delight ribbon around the Granny Apple Green DSP. Before you tie the bow, lay the colored Real Red & Granny Apple Green twine on the Daffodil Delight ribbon, then tie a bow on the right side of the card. I used my fingers to untwist the twine, then use the paper piercing tool to fan the treads out.
Adhere the completed 5 1/4" x 4" Daffodil Delight layer to the card base using dimensionals.
Add the stamped taco layer to the 5 1/4" x 4" Daffodil Delight layer, making sure it is centered on the card on the left side.
Adhere three red sequences to mini glue dots, then place them on the card front.
