A
very quick and simple card made with washi tape and a very easy stamped image. These style cards are very easy and quick to mass produce! Use any variation of washi tape, ribbon or twine, or stamp set for this style card!
Wait...did I mention this card was easy???
Project Recipe
Take a sheet of cardstock, and cut in half at 4.25" along the long edge. Score the sheet at 5.5"
Tear off 1-3 (or more!) pieces of washi to go across the card. Once you burnish the washi down, make sure to burnish to the ends of the paper as well, then, using scissors, cut off the excess washi.
Burnish the washi tape one more time, with your fingers, for good measure. Then, tie a ribbon or piece of twine around the card and washi, like in the finished card as shown.
Stamp your image and sentiment directly onto the white cardstock. For this card, I used Momento ink in Black.
For this card, I used a sponge, dabbed in Cucumber Crush (green) and used it on the trees and grass. I used just a tiny bit of Crumb Cake for the background behind the tree for subtle shading.
(Not shown) I used a piece of washi tape on the envelope, and also on the back of the card, to keep the coordinated look going. SO simple!
