H ello from Las Vegas! Coming to you from On Stage, and what a great time we had! There is so much exciting news, but that will come in a few days. Since I was here I didn’t have the chance to make a card, so I thought I’d share my swaps card with you! Stay tuned for more soon!
Project Recipe
I didn’t do step by step photos on this, but I’ll do my best to write it out on the drive home from Vegas.
-I did this card in 3 different colors, so pick one of the 3 to use for your base card. Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise, or Lemon Lime Twist. Cut to 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”, score at 4 1/4” and fold.
-Basic Black cut to 4” x 5 1/4”.
-Choose 1 of the 3 colors of the striped Foil Frenzy, blue, yellow or magenta to correspond with the base card color you picked.
Take the white with rose gold polka dotted Springtime foils paper, and using the Large letter framlets, choose out the letters V E G A S. Cut them out on your Big Shot.
Now get the get the Yellow, Gamboge, and Red Brusho crystals out. Lay the letters out on paper, and spray them with water. Now sprinkle the yellow Brusho on all the letters, gamboge on the middle down, and a touch of red at the bottom. Spray more water until it gets the look like flames. Let dry, or use your heat gun for a faster result.
Next, paste the black card centered on the card base. At this point you can use any Stampin’ Up! stamp on the top left of the black card, and “celebrate the good stuff” stamp on the bottom right, with Versamark ink. Dust with Gold embossing powder, tap off excess and emboss with your heat gun
Place Stampin dimensionals on the backs of the letters and place them along the the foil frenzy, staggering the up & down slightly as shown.
Glue a few sequins on as embellishments and you’re done!
