S plit front, or you can call it floating front...
Project Recipe
Start with the number of layers of paper you want, with your DSP being the main focus I like having 1/16 or 1/8 of an edge behind the DSP. White card base is standard 4.25 X 5.5 so the pink watercolor paper (Sale-A-Bration item) is 4 1/8 X 5 3/8. Hello Honey layer is 3 7/8 X 5 1/8 and the DSP is 3 3/4 and attach these 3 layers together with snail.
Make the cut...start about 3/4" to 1" up from the bottom on either side and cut across the layers in one cut, so have your long blade scissors for this step, at an angle. Now you want to use the same angle and cut an inch or whatever you need for your greeting off the top section.
Stamp your greeting...you will want to attach the top or bottom section to the card base with dimensionals so you can stamp the greeting at the same angle as the cut. If you are going to add ribbon to one of the sections, make sure to do so prior to adding it to your card (ask me how I know that lol).
Add embellishments of your choice here I used It's My Party Enamel Dots on one version and the flower part of the Tree Builder punch and a rhinestone in the center on the 2nd card.
