Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Granny Apple Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of blue and white scribbles on light blue background design from Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper
- 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Whisper White Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Follow Your Art Designer Paper to the front of the Granny Apple Green card at a slight angle.
Mount the large, rounded leaf image from the Tropical Chic Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it multiple times across the center of the large, vertical white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the right and left edges of the cardstock.
Mount the smaller, rounded leaf image from the Tropical Chic Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp onto Grid Paper once. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it across the center of the large, vertical white rectangle. Repeat multiple times. Remember to re-ink and then stamp off with the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the right and left edges of the cardstock and let some of them overlap the previously stamped larger leaves.
Mount the grouping of little seeds image from the Tropical Chic Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Bermuda Bay Ink Pad. Stamp it multiple times across the center of the large, vertical white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the right and left edges of the cardstock and let them overlap the previously stamped leaf images.
Adhere the stamped, large white rectangle to the front of the card at a slight angle centered over the designer paper.
Cut a 6-1/2" piece of the Bermuda Bay 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon and a 7" piece of the Granny Apple Green 1/2" Textured Weave Ribbon.
Fold the Granny Apple Green ribbon in half and lay it on the card front with the loop end on the left side just touching the left side of the card. Use a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the ribbon about 1-1/2" from the left edge to hold the ribbon in place. Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape.
Fold the Bermuda Bay ribbon in half and lay it on the card front with the loop end on the left side just touching the left side of the card so it overlaps the bottom of the green ribbon. Use a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the ribbon about 1-1/2" from the left edge to hold the ribbon in place. Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape.
As you are ready to stamp using the Magnolia Blooms Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp
Mount the "thank you" or "happy birthday" sentiment from the Magnolia Blooms Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Bermuda Bay Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-3/4" x 3-1/4" strip of white cardstock on one end.
Unlock the 1-1/2" Circle Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide in the stamped sentiment, get it centered in the punching area, and punch.
Adhere the sentiment circle punch out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbons top to bottom and covers the Tear & Tape strips.
Mount the hibiscus image from the Tropical Chic Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp on the square of white cardstock.
Pick out the open hibiscus flower die from the Tropical Dies. Put it on top of the stamped hibiscus flower on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the hibiscus flower cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the sentiment circle on the upper right side.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up 3 different sizes of Melon Mambo Glitter Enamel Dots being sure to get the adhesives as well. Adhere them to the front of the card randomly over the stamped leaf images.
